During a panel for another virtual convention happening this weekend — Adult Swim Con — Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon and cast members Spencer Grammer, Chris Parnell, and Sarah Chalke treated fans to a special first look at season 5 of the show.
The clip is a sneak peek still in the early stages of animation. It teases a dire situation Rick and Morty have found themselves in, with Rick in bad shape, heading towards what seems like an unfortunate end. Watch the clip below.
Rick and Morty follows Rick, a mad scientist, who recruits his grandson Morty to embark on endless and chaotic adventures. The show was created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland. It features the voice talents of Roiland, Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah Chalke, Kari Wahlgren, and Dan Harmon. There is currently no release date for season 5.
