Invincible, the upcoming animated series from Amazon Studios based on the comic book with the same name written by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), already has a star studded cast, and they’ve added a few more stars to their roster. Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) and Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) will be joining Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) and Seth Rogen (This Is the End), among others.

The show revolves around teenage superhero Invincible (Yeun), a.k.a. Mark Grayson. His father, Nolan Grayson, is the most powerful superhero on Earth, Omni-Man, and in the comics Mark is very much aware of the fact that he too will develop superpowers. His father is from the planet Viltrum, and though he is hailed as a hero, Mark soon learns that his father is hiding a very dark side.

Amazon has not announced a premiere date for the eight episode series yet, but if you’re interested in learning more about Invincible, you can read the first issue (out of 144) on Image Comics’ website.
