Ryan Phillippe will be starring in a new action-drama being released this September. The 2nd, follows Secret Service Agent Vic Davies (Phillippe), while he picks up his estranged son Sean (Jack Griffo) from college. Davies soon finds himself in the middle of a high stakes terrorist operation requiring him to use his skills and training against the organization led by Caper Van Dien’s character.
The trailer for The 2nd reminds us that not everything is as it seems. Starting with Vic Davies picking up his son Sean, we get introduced to Sean’s girlfriend. Davies begins to question the man picking her up, as it is not her regular driver, and quickly his instincts are proven right. The trailer takes you on a high-stakes, action-packed thrill ride leaving you at the edge of your seat.
The 2nd stars Ryan Phillippe, Casper Van Dien, Jack Griffo, and Lexi Simonsen, it is written by Eric Bromberg and Paul Taegel, and directed by Brian Skiba. The film will be available on digital and on-demand September 1, be sure to watch the trailer below.
