San Diego Comic-Con is going digital!
Comic-Con@Home is gearing up to deliver over 350 panels between July 22 and July 26. These panels will be available to stream on the San Diego Comic-Con YouTube channel. The usual San Diego Comic-Con app won’t be up and running this year, but you’ll be able to head over to sched.com and create the perfect Comic-Con day after the schedules are released. Currently, Wednesday, July 22 and Thursday, July 23 are available to preview with more coming soon!
Some panels will be available to view later, but some will be limited to their live showtime, so keep that in mind when selecting which ones you’d like to see!
One that should make your list is “A Look Inside Marvel’s 616 on Disney+.” Being held on Thursday July 23 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. PT, this panel will delve into one of the first nonfiction Marvel series coming to Disney+. An anthological documentary, Marvel describes Marvel’s 616 as a “series exploring the intersection between Marvel’s rich legacy of stories, characters and creators and the world outside your window. Told through the lens of a diverse group of filmmakers, each documentary will dive into the rich historical, cultural and societal context that has become inseparable from stories of the Marvel Universe.”
Hosted by Angélique Roché, the panel will feature directors Gillian Jacobs and Paul Scheer, and executive producers Sarah Amos and Jason Sterman to discuss the making of this new project.

Marvel has become a large staple in our world, from the comics to the out-of-this-world success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it will be extremely interesting to hear about these contexts of these beloved characters.
