Evanescence’s New Single “The Game Is Over” Available Now for Pre-Save

Evanescence has announced another single, titled “The Game Is Over,” is set to drop on July 1, 2020. This is the second single to be teased from their upcoming album, the first being “Wasted On You,” which was released on April 24.

Evanescence’s highly anticipated new album, titled The Bitter Truth, will be their first album in nearly a decade that is comprised of entirely new music. While the band did release an album in 2017 called Synthesis, the majority of the album was remixed versions of their previous music. Their last fully original album was the self-titled album Evanescence released in 2011.

Both “Wasted On You” and “The Game Is Over” will be featured in The Bitter Truth, and although there has not been a specific date announced for when this album will come out, Evanescence’s lead singer, Amy Lee, has stated it will be sometime in late 2020.

While fans must wait a little longer to hear the new song, “The Game Is Over” is available for pre-save on Apple Music, Spotify, and Deezer. Click here to pre-save today for a chance at being the first to hear the new song over a Zoom call with the band!
