Cursed, Netflix’s re-imagining of the King Arthur legend from the perspective of the Lady of the Lake, has finally released a trailer! The 10 episode series follows Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why) as Nimue, who, according to Deadline, is

a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther.

Cursed is based on the graphic novel by legendary artist Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler, who also executive produce the television series. Alongside Langford, the show stars Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgård, Peter Mullan, Lily Newmark, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Emily Coates, and Billy Jenkins. It is set for release on Netflix on July 17. Check out the trailer below!
