Following in the footsteps of Shanghai and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World, Disney has announced that Hong Kong Disneyland will reopen to the public on June 18. Just as Shanghai and Disney World, Hong Kong will implement safety measures and precautions, as stated by the local government and health care officials.
During the reopening, the park will have limited attendance and social distancing requirements will be implemented in restaurants, attractions vehicles, facilities, and more, according to Disney D23. Furthermore, there will be more sanitation areas and use of disinfectant in areas in the park with high volumes of contact. Disney D23 has also revealed a sneak peek of the Castle of Magical Dreams in Hong Kong, which will become the centerpiece of the park. It is currently in the final stage of refurbishment.
