We’re just over a month out from the official release of Dave Franco’s directorial debut, The Rental.
Co-written by Franco (Neighbors, The Disaster Artist) and Joe Swanberg (You’re Next) and starring Alison Brie (GLOW), Dan Stevens (Legion), Jeremy Allen White (Shameless), and Sheila Vand (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night), the premise of The Rental is as follows:
Two couples on an oceanside getaway grow suspicious that the host of their seemingly perfect rental house may be spying on them. Before long, what should have been a celebratory weekend trip turns into something far more sinister, as well-kept secrets are exposed and the four old friends come to see each other in a whole new light.
In anticipation of the release of the film’s official trailer, coming this Thursday, June 18 at 8 a.m. PST, a teaser trailer has been released!
