Heads up, game nerds it is almost here, the new PlayStation 5 (PS5), and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. The sleek modern design will be available this holiday 2020 season. So, most likely, we could see it anywhere between October and December. Since it cannot be pre-ordered, the price is not known.

There will be two console options players can choose from, the main difference being the PS5 Digital Edition will not include the 4K Blu-ray drive. They did give the gaming system a new black-and-white design that can still be set upright or placed flat to be stored. The blue LED lights will be around the sides. There is also some good news for PlayStation fans. The PS4 games will be compatible. Which is good news for those who remember when the PS4 came out, and not all games would work.

Included with the announcement of the new console was also some accessories. There will be an HD camera, wireless headset, media remote, and charging station. Even the controllers have gotten an upgrade. They feature adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, touchpad, and the light bar will be on the sides of the touchpad. The “Share” button is now the “Create” button, which will let players share and create content to who they are playing. Not to mention that the DualSense controller will have a built-in microphone where you can speak to other players.
