Tom Ryan to Direct Short Film

Author Tom Ryan recently announced that he will be working with Cape Breton Film Inc. and direct a short film this summer! The film is called Jenny and “is the tale of a family who rent a house in the Cape Breton countryside for a summer getaway, but get more than they bargain for when a mysterious young stranger appears, looking to make friends.”

The filming location in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is currently secured and the story was solicited from a local author. Ryan and Cape Breton Film are currently looking for four talented actors to play the characters. You can find the details of their casting call as well as volunteer opportunities here!
