Lucasfilm’s immersive entertainment studio, ILMxLAB, has officially announced Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, a virtual reality experience currently in development in collaboration with Oculus Studios.

Set on the outskirts of the planet of Batuu’s Black Spire Outpost, this experience will connect to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge will feature an original story with both new and old faces from the Star Wars universe, taking place between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
