Members of the Lord of the Rings cast have come together to join Josh Gad (Frozen, Beauty and the Beast) in his Reunited Apart series on YouTube, Sunday, May 31 at 12 pm EST. You can watch a trailer for the reunion below.

Sean Astin (Sam) meets with Gad for the video, mentioning some of Astin’s greatest hits before discussing some of the amazing things that happened in the Lord of the Rings series. Elijah Wood (Frodo) quickly joins in since Astin and Wood are always in a call together.  The other two trouble hobbits, Dominic Monaghan (Merry) and Billy Boyd (Pippin) join in as well, always wanting to join in the fun of a fellowship. Orlando Bloom (Legolas) pops in commenting that the cast never stops zooming. Gad asks these members of the fellowship to join him for a reunion, and then we have Sir Ian McKellan (Gandalf) giving one of his powerful lines from the series confirming the reunion. Other members of the fellowship are not shown in the video, but Gad teased that there would be more surprises coming!

The Reunited Apart series started a month ago with a reunion from the cast of The Goonies, including Astin (Mikey), Josh Brolin (Brand), and more. Gad then had the cast from Back to the Future, including Christopher Lloyd (Dr. Emmett Brown), Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly), and more. Earlier this week, Gad also had the cast from Splash on the show, including the director Ron Howard, Tom Hanks (Allen Bauer), and more. There are also some special videos from different cast members from these reunions!

All of those episodes are available on Gad’s YouTube page along with some special extras that you can view now.
