In an announcement that many European fans of Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer have been dreading, the first leg of the upcoming Hella Mega Tour has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The shows would have taken place from June 14 to June 29, but will now be moved to the summer of 2021.

The wording of the statement “a number of our European shows” have had many concerned, as the dates in the UK and Ireland still aren’t showing as postponed on the Hella Mega Tour website. However, according to the ticket office that handles the official tickets sales for the events, Ticketmaster, the shows in the UK and Ireland are indeed postponed.

More information on new dates for the summer of 2021 will be announced when they are finalized.

There is no information on how the American leg of the tour will be affected yet. The first date in the US is July 17, so chances are that this part of the Hella Mega Tour will be affected as well.
