As reported by /Film, Rosario Dawson (Rent) is rumored to portray Anakin Skywalker’s Jedi padawan apprentice and Clone Wars hero Ahsoka Tano in the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian!

This will mark the first live-action appearance of the fan favorite character (who made her debut in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated film in 2008, voiced by Ashley Eckstein of Her Universe) outside of her small voice cameo in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It’s also worth noting that the co-creator of Ahsoka, Dave Filoni, is a writer/producer/director on The Mandalorian.

As of right now, season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to arrive on Disney+ this October. In the meantime, make sure to check out our review of the epic premiere season of the first live-action Star Wars television series.
