After delaying major films like Mulan and New Mutants over the coronavirus outbreak, Disney has also announced that Black Widow will postpone its release date. The film was originally set to premiere on May 1 — no new date has been released. The Marvel event film is just the latest tentpole release to be postponed, with No Time To Die, Fast 9, and A Quiet Place Part 2 setting new release dates or postponing indefinitely.

Black Widow is a prequel film starring Scarlett Johansson as the titular hero alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz.
