Official Production Photos From Martin McDonagh’s ‘Hangmen’ on Broadway Released

Martin McDonagh’s hit production Hangmen has arrived on Broadway! This award-winning play was first met with critical acclaim in London in 2015, and later at off-Broadway’s Atlantic Theater Company in 2018.

Set in 1965 in the UK, this dark comedy centers around the struggles of Britain’s second-most famous executioner — Harry Wade — as he struggles to deal with the abolition of hangings. Hangmen is jam-packed with an incredible cast that includes Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey, Legion), Mark Addy (Game of Thrones), Tracie Bennett (End of the Rainbow), Ewen Bremner (Trainspotting), and more.

Previews for Hangmen began on February 28, and has now shared the first production photos captured by photographer Joan Marcus.

Lindsey joined the Nerds and Beyond team in 2018. If she's not writing or out and about with her camera, she's probably watching anime, nerding out over Star Wars, reading manga, and definitely forgetting to water her plants. And waiting for the Genshin loading screen to pop up. Contact:
