‘The Glee Project’ Star Lindsay Pearce Joins ‘Wicked’ On Broadway!

Lindsay Pearce will soon get “green-ified” when she joins the cast of Wicked on Broadway as Elphaba! She will make her Broadway debut in the role alongside Fiyero Sam Gravitte, who has previously performed in the show’s ensemble. Their first performances will be February 25.

Pearce is also known for her role on Freeform’s Recovery Road and many Los Angeles productions including Spring Awakening and Bare. Way back in 2011, viewers were first introduced to Pearce as a contestant on The Glee Project, a reality show on Oxygen designed to find the next star of the Fox hit Glee. Pearce was a runner-up on the first season of the show and received a two-episode stint on Glee, memorably playing Harmony, a rival to Lea Michele’s Rachel. She also released two singles from her time on Glee, “Anything Goes/Anything You Can Do” and “Buenos Aires.” Other alums of The Glee Project include Tony Award winner Ali Stroker and Alex Newell among others.

Check out this clip of Pearce performing “Defying Gravity” on The Glee Project and be sure to catch her on Broadway starting February 25!
