‘Passenger List’ Wins Best Fiction Podcast at BBC Audio Drama Awards
Passenger List made it’s way to our ears back in September 16, and listeners were hooked with this audio drama.
The podcast is centered around a mysterious flight disappearance traveling from London to New York. As each episode airs it ties up loose ends and gives more information to the listeners as to the disappearance. In the middle of it all is Kaitlin Le (played by Star Wars’ actress Kelly Marie Tran) who along with wanting to find her brother, also wants to uncover the truth. The cast also includes Patti Lupone, Colin Morgan and Rob Benedict.
The podcast was created, co-written, and co-directed by Peabody Award-winner John Scott Dryden. It was also co-written and co-directed by Lauren Shippen. Editing, sound design and music are by Mark Henry Phillips.
Dryden took to Twitter recently to announce that the podcast won for Best Fiction Podcast at the BBC Audio Drama Awards.
