Lin-Manuel Miranda spoke to Variety to promote his new documentary Siempre, Luis, the new adaptation of his first musical In The Heights, and discuss the highly anticipated by all Broadway fans, when are we getting the Hamilton movie we are all hoping for?
So the question on everyone’s mind is: When are we getting a Hamilton movie? In the words of Miranda, “Hopefully sooner rather than later.” He goes on to say that they did film with the original cast of the Broadway production. However, they are waiting to find the right time to release it.
