Silver Dollar City Announces Diamond Jubilee for 60th Anniversary

Silver Dollar City (SDC) turns 60 this year, and it’s hosting a year-long 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee to not only ring in the milestone, but celebrate the $100 million invested in the park since 2010.

To kick things off, SDC has announced a special Diamond Membership exclusive to Tulsa-based guests. A smart move for the Missouri theme park, as it was visited by an estimated 160,000 Oklahoma guests in 2019 (for reference, SDC saw two million guests in 2018).
For those living outside of Tulsa (and those diamond perks), there’s still plenty to enjoy:
- New themed area of Rivertown
- Opening of Mystic River Falls attraction
- New BBQ Rivertown Smokehouse
“While we celebrate our 60 year past, we are very excited about the future,” said President of Silver Dollar City Attractions Brad Thomas. “As we celebrate our 60th Anniversary, this proclamation could not be truer: Our Greatest Adventures Lie Ahead.”
Silver Dollar City opened in 1880 as the first theme park under Herschend Family Entertainment, the United State’s largest family-owned themed attractions corporation. To learn more about Silver Dollar City, visit SilverDollarCity.com.
