After an almost two year absence, Demi Lovato released a new, highly personal single after performing it live for the first time at the 62nd Grammy Awards. “Anyone,” which was written in the wake of the singer’s relapse and overdose in 2018, is a stripped down song that showcases Lovato’s vocal ability. It was made available to stream after her powerful performance, which led to a standing ovation as an emotional Lovato broke down early in the song.
