Adam was nominated for his second Academy Award (Oscar), for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role as Charlie in Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story. Driver’s co-stars, Scarlett Johansson and Laura Dern were nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role and Best Actress in a Supporting Role, respectively.
