The CW Renews 13 Series for 2020-2021 Season
The annual Winter TCAs are in full swing, with networks announcing TV show renewals and cancellations. Among those is The CW, which has just renewed a whopping 13 series for the next TV season, including Riverdale, The Flash, and more.

Batwoman and Nancy Drew have been renewed for a second season after both shows got additional episodes for their first seasons; All American, Charmed, In the Dark, Legacies, and Roswell, New Mexico for season 3; Black Lightning and Dynasty for season 4; Riverdale for season 5; Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl for season 6; and The Flash, which will soon be The CW’s current longest-running series after Supernatural and Arrow air their final seasons this year, will be gearing up for its seventh season.
The Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene, which stars former Pretty Little Liar Lucy Hale as the titular character and Riverdale‘s own Ashleigh Murray returning as Josie McCoy, doesn’t premiere until February, but The CW has already ordered an additional 13 episodes.
The CW is also developing multiple new series for next season, which include a Walker, Texas Ranger remake starring Supernatural‘s Jared Padalecki, an Arrow spin-off that takes place in the future and centers on the characters of Katherine McNamara, Katie Cassidy, and Juliana Harkavy, and Superman & Lois, starring Supergirl‘s Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch.
Arrow, Supernatural, and The 100 will all be ending this current TV season.
