Walt Disney World’s Festival of Fantasy parade may finally have some competition with the announcement of Disneyland’s all-new “Magic Happens” Main Street, U.S.A. parade premiering in 2020 for the park’s 65th anniversary. Expect dazzling floats, favorite characters in exclusive costumes and an original new song, co-composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall.

As shared on Disney Parks Blog:

“Celebrating awe-inspiring moments of magic — both large and small — that are at the heart of so many Disney stories, “Magic Happens” reminds us we don’t need wings to fly, shooting stars were made to wish upon, and magic doesn’t stop at midnight.”

Details released thus far reveal Revival Era characters from films like Frozen 2, Moana, and Coco, plus a grand finale color-changing float featuring everyone’s favorite fairy trio from the Silver Era classic, Sleeping Beauty.

“Magic Happens” will premiere in Disneyland on February 28, 2020 after The Christmas Fantasy Parade wraps up on January 5.
