‘Deadpool’ Creator Rob Liefeld Among Wizard World Bay Area Guests

Every year thousands of fans of various ages go to the multiple events put on by Wizard World. Attendees celebrate everything in movies, television, gaming, comics, collectables, art, cosplay, contests, and more.

The 14th and final event for 2019 is Wizard World Bay Area from November 22-24 at the Oakland Convention Center on 550 10th Street. The hours of the three-day convention are Friday 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

There will be live entertainment, exclusive Q&A, autographs, photo ops with the celebrity guests, and the Wizard World Master of Ceremonies Kato Kaelin. Stars in attendance feature Jeff Goldblum, Jewel Staite, Sam J. Jones, Brian Krause, Claudia Wells, Kevin Nash, Barry Williams, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Samm Levine, and more

Industry creator veterans such as Rob Liefeld, Christian Gossett, Ron Marz, Alexis Fajardo, Andrew Farago, Joe Wos, Shaenon K. Garrity, Walden Wong, Albert Nguyen, Kevin Glover, Michael Calero, Jimmy Tran, Megan Whitey, James Pascoe, and Jon Del Arroz, are among the creators that will be found in Artist Alley. During the weekend, there will also be demonstrations and discussions on the Creative Stage.

There are also going to be local Bay Area creators in attendance as well. They feature Thomas Chiarmonte, Zizani Cochran, Melissa Pagluica, Devin Hughes, Brandon Lyons, Jamie Firenze, Huy (Jack) Nguyen, Jack Le, Deborah Blandino, and Neal (“Lopan 4000”) Bergmann. Jewelry designs by Dennis Bolen and jewelry from Kim Kelly, Shawna Arzadon. Woodworking art by Sara Hurley. Beautiful fine art by creators Alexis Villanueva and David Farrar. Pop art by Gitano DePaola, Arezu Sarvestani, Levi Craig, Lawrence Washington, Rob Gardner, and Darren Murata. Ink and watercolor painting by Brittni Paul. Prints from Steph Dere and steampunk/gothic by Bonnie Collins.
