Knives Out director Rian Johnson was the victim of a Twitter heist earlier today, with the final trailer for his highly anticipated new “whodunnit” disappearing into thin air — or was it stolen?
Alright my dear friend Twitter, this is weird. I had the final Knives Out trailer all set to post but it has mysteriously (dot dot dot) VANISHED! This is worrying.

Fans suspected foul play, while Rian searched his home, behind his couch, the bathtub, and even atop his own head. Ana de Armas and Jamie Lee Curtis, two of the film’s stars, got involved, both knowing that trailers don’t just vanish, they are stolen. And they were right.
Hmmmmmm. You don’t lose a new trailer…you’re robbed of it! Reveal yourself thief.

In the end, Fandango outed themselves as the thief (who wouldn’t buckle under the pressure of Jamie Lee Curtis) and added that tickets to the film are on sale now!
