First Look at ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ Released at New York Comic Con

During New York Comic Con, Nickelodeon celebrated the return of Are You Afraid of the Dark?

The three-part series, based on the cult classic from the 90s, has been reimagined for a new generation and new members of the Midnight Society. Each episode in the horror story limited series will be one hour long. The story told is the terrifying tale of the Carnival of Doom and the evil ringmaster Mr. Tophat, but with a twist, the story comes to life.

During the panel that featured Lyliana Wray (Top Gun: Maverick), Sam Ashe Arnold (Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.), Miya Cech (Rim of the World), Jeremy Ray Taylor (IT Chapter Two), Rafael Casal (Blindspotting), writer/executive producer BenDavid Grabinski and executive producer Matt Kapla, they revealed an exclusive first look trailer.

You can watch part one of Nickelodeon’s Are You Afraid of the Dark? on Friday, October 11, at 7 p.m. ET/PT, part two on October 18, and part three on October 25.
