Hold onto your cowboy hats, Supernatural fans. Deadline is reporting that the Texas native Jared Padalecki will be starring in a reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger. Yes, you read that correctly.

Padalecki currently stars in The CW’s Supernatural, which is getting ready to premiere it’s last season, so his schedule will be free to do other projects.

According to Deadline, the project is being written and executive produced by Anna Fricke, and executive produced by Dan Lin, with The CW reportedly already leading the way to nab the series for its network.

We’re so excited about this! Let us know what you think in the comments.
