The name of the new roller coaster coming to Epcot was announced at D23 last month, as previously reported by Nerds and Beyond here.
Now we are getting a closer look at the ride vehicles for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The cars are modeled after the Guardians of the Galaxy Milano Starship, they can rotate 360 degrees and even reverse launch!

The features of the ride vehicles will allow the rider to be fully immersed in the story instead of zipping by all the action.
Before the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive to take the riders on adventures across the cosmos, riders will start in the “Galaxarium” learning about Xandar’s treasures. According to Disney Parks Blog, the “Galaxarium” is a “planetarium-like exhibition that explores the similarities and mysteries of the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xandar.”
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is scheduled to launch in 2021, just in time for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort.
