In pure Eric Kripke fashion, the cast lineup of his latest diabolical project — The Boys — will be growing slightly larger in its upcoming season as some familiar faces from his last television show come aboard.
As exclusively reported by Deadline, Timeless‘ Goran Visnjic and Claudia Doumit will be appearing in season two of The Boys in recurring roles. Doumit will portray a congresswoman known as Victoria Neuman, while Visnjic will appear as a “mysterious” church leader named Alistair Adana. Malcolm Barrett, a Timeless alum who appeared in season one, will also reprise his role as Seth Reed.
Fans of Kripke’s work can appreciate the fact that he often brings on cast from previous projects when he moves on to something else, as with the appearance of multiple Supernatural actors on Timeless throughout its two season run.
The Boys is an Amazon Original television show, which premiered in late July and is available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. It focuses on a misfit group of vigilantes as they work to overthrow the corrupt superheroes that the world has come to love. The eight-episode first season has been a hit amongst audiences, and season two is currently filming.
