National Geographic is doing a documentary series that focuses on Global Citizen’s efforts to end extreme poverty by 2030.

On our platform, Global Citizens learn about the systemic causes of extreme poverty, take action on those issues, and earn rewards for their actions — as part of a global community committed to lasting change.

The series shows many artists, corporation leaders, and activists as they work to change lives. Some familiar faces that are a part of this effort include: Hugh Jackman, Usher, Gayle King, Darren Criss, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Pharrell Williams, along with the company P&G, who is also supporting the movement.

The series will premiere September 5, 2019 at 10 p.m. ET on National Geographic. Learn more about Activate and what the Global Citizens are doing here.
