New Disney+ Shows, Films and Posters Revealed including ‘Star Wars’, ‘High School Musical’ & More!
Disney+’s November launch is getting closer and closer and today Disney released information and official posters on some new, original content that will be premiering on launch day, November 12, 2019.
First up, is the Star Wars live-action series from Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian. “After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe.” The trailer is set to premiere today at D23! Stay tuned with us for information as it emerges.
Following is the live-action reboot of the animated classic, Lady and the Tramp. Featuring the voices of Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux as the star-crossed dogs, not much else is known. However, we recently learned that the pup portraying Tramp is rescue dog out of Phoenix, Arizona!
It isn’t a sequel, it isn’t a reboot, it’s something new. High School Musical: The Series will be available when Disney+ launches. Starring Joshua Bassett, Olivia Rodrigo, and Matt Cornett follows as these high schoolers put on a school production High School Musical.
A Jeff Goldblum-led docuseries you say? We say yes! The World According to Jeff Goldblum is coming from Disney-owned Nat Geo and is described as “Jeff pulls back the curtain on a seemingly familiar object to reveal a world of astonishing connections, fascinating science, and a whole lot of big ideas”.
What would a November launch be without a new holiday film? Noelle starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader IMDb teases a film about “Santa’s daughter finds herself having to take over the family business.” With these two at the helm, this is sure to be a new holiday favorite.
