Audience Network has released the trailer for season three of Mr. Mercedes.
Mr. Mercedes is adapted from the trilogy by Stephen King. The first two seasons were primarily adapted from the first book of the same name and the third book, End of Watch. They focused on retired detective Bill Hodges (Brendan Gleeson), who teamed up with two unlikely people to track down Brady Hartsfield (Harry Treadaway), the Mercedes Killer. After believing Brady’s reign of terror was over, Hodges and his associates discovered he found a way to control people through technology. By the end of season two, Brady is shot and killed in the courtroom by his former coworker and friend, Lou (Breeda Wool).
The third season will adapt Finders Keepers, the second book in the series. It follows Bill Hodges, Holly Gibney (Justine Lupe), and Jerome Robinson (Jharrel Jerome) as they work through the murder of the highly-esteemed author John Rothstein and its connection to a collection of missing manuscripts that belonged to him. The season will also focus on the consequences of Lou’s actions from the previous season.
Mr. Mercedes premieres on Audience Network September 10 at 10:00 p.m. ET. Watch the trailer below!
