We’re a week away from FAN EXPO Canada, and we absolutely can’t wait! This epic annual convention is being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from August 22-25. FAN EXPO Canada is the third largest Pop Culture event in North America, covering a wide range of subjects including comics, gaming, horror, sci-fi, and anime.
This year will be exceptionally memorable because FAN EXPO Canada will be celebrating a milestone 25th anniversary. To celebrate 25 years of guests and fans coming together celebrating the fandoms that they love, there are a variety of special events being held between now and December!
The guest list for the weekend is stacked with an impressive lineup of familiar faces that include Jeff Goldblum, Zachary Levi, Brendan Fraser, John Travolta, Karl Urban, Summer Glau, Michael Rosenbaum, Tyler Hoechlin, legendary comic creator Jim Lee, Steven Seagal, Peter Capaldi and more. There will also be voice actors, anime guests, cosplayers, gaming guests, comic creators, internet celebrities, and authors.
Professional photo opportunities will be available with many guests. Photo Op tickets are limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis, so make sure to purchase yours today! Autographs with guests are typically sold on-site, and more information can be found here.
FAN EXPO Canada will offer a wide range of attractions for guests to check out throughout the course of the weekend. The vendor area, for example, will offer over 400,000 square feet of endless shopping opportunities. Those that are bringing children along will be pleased to know there will be a variety of family-oriented activities available in the Family Zone. Activities will include a Harry Potter Sorting Hat Ceremony, the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Pokémon Park (with life sized Pokémon!), plushie workshops, temporary tattoo alley, and more.
As usual, there will be an exciting selection of FAN EXPO Canada exclusive collectible merchandise, such as Funko Pop! toys, comic books, t-shirts, and more! Show hours for each day of the event are as follows:
Thursday, August 22 – 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday, August 23 – 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 24 – 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 25 – 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The convention is being held in the North Building and the South Building at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the street addresses for which are 255 Front Street West and 222 Bremner Blvd, respectively.
