Fourth Guest Director Announced for Final Season of ‘Supernatural’

If you peruse the tweets of one Supernatural‘s Jim Michaels, you might have caught this nugget of gold:

Michaels announced via Twitter that Amanda Tapping will be returning to direct an episode on the show’s final season. So far, she is the fourth guest director that has been announced. Jensen Ackles, Richard Speight, Jr., and Matt Cohen are also spending time in the series’ Director’s Chair.

This will be Tapping’s fifth Supernatural episode behind the camera. She also directed “The Future,” “Various and Sundry Villains,” “A Most Holy Man,” and “Nihilism.”

The final season of Supernatural premieres on Thursday October 10, 2019 on The CW.
