The creators of Marley and Me are back with another dog-centered tearjerker.

Based on the best-selling novel by Garth Stein, The Art of Racing in the Rain tells the story of aspiring Formula 1-driver Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia) and his best friend Enzo (voiced by Kevin Costner) as they navigate life both on and off the racing track. We follow Enzo as he watches and learns about human life, and how events on the race track mimic other things in life. Enzo is there as Denny meets future wife Eve (Amanda Seyfried), and he watches over their daughter Zoe (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) when she comes into their life.

The movie drops next week, August 9, in the US, UK, Ireland and Canada.
