More exciting news for Matt Cohen and the cast and crew of Mama Bear – the short will be screening at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on August 13! Mama Bear was written by Lee Ehlers, stars Mandy Musgrave and was directed by Cohen.
Mama Bear will be screening as part of the Hollyshorts Film Festival, under their “Action” category. Mama Bear has previously screened at festivals such as the Olympus Film Festival, Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, California International Film Festival and Woods Hole Film Festival.
The short has also won several awards, including Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Actress and Best Producer from the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards, as well as the Zeus Award from the Olympus Film Festival.
Mama Bear will screen at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13 at TCL Chinese 6 Theatre. Tickets are $20 and you can purchase them here.
