In a live broadcast, presenters D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place) and Ken Jeong (Crazy Rich Asians) announced the nominations for the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards from the Wolf Theater in the Saban Media Center located in Los Angeles, California.

There were a few surprise nominations, including most of the cast from HBO’s Barry getting nominated. Also, some snubs shocked fans: neither Modern Family nor The Big Bang Theory was nominated in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.
