NASCAR driver Aric Almirola celebrated Independence Day in a big way when he took his family to LEGOLAND® Florida Resort. Aric, his wife, and two young children took in the sights and sounds of the park’s newest expansion, THE LEGO® Movie™ World.

“The new LEGO Movie World was incredible. It makes you feel like you’re in the movie,” said Aric in a press release. “That was one of my personal favorites and the kids loved it too.”

This weekend, Aric will be racing in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway against many of the world’s best drivers. In a long racing season filled with immense travel, drivers and their families spend much of their time on the road. However, Aric is steadfast in his commitment to spending as much time as possible with his family away from the race track.

“It was great to know that the theme park was built for kids, the rides and attractions were exactly what they wanted,” Aric continued. “As busy of a life we live, we always try to squeeze in some family time and LEGOLAND Florida Resort was a great choice.”

Best of luck to you this weekend in your race, Aric!
