Netflix has just dropped the first character photos for the upcoming adaptation of The Witcher. The Netflix series, based on the video game, which was the taken from a series of books by Andrzej Sapkowski, has been in development since last year. Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) plays main character, Geralt of Riva.
Controversy arose last October when a teaser showed a costume test of Cavill as Geralt. Many fans did not like the look, specifically the wig they used. It seems like Netflix heard the feedback loud and clear. Hopefully these new photos showing Geralt (Henry Cavill), Yennefer (Anya Cholatra), and Ciri (Freya Allan) will appease the eager masses. We think they look stunning!
