‘Mayans MC’ Premieres September 3, Returns to SDCC Hall H
The season two premiere date of the crime drama series Mayans MC has been announced! The FX series created by Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy) and Elgin James (Lowriders) will return on September 3.
You can also catch Sutter, James, and stars of the series Sunday, July 21 in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con! Included in the panel will be a sneak peak at season two.

The show is set four years after the Sons of Anarchy finale in the fictional California/Mexico border town of Santo Padre. The show features the rivals-turned-allies of the Sons of Anarchy MC.
Last season had lots of twists and turns and a shocking ending that brought more questions than answers in EZ Reyes’ (JD Pardo) search for answers regarding his mother’s death.

Angel (Clayton Cardenas) found out that his brother EZ was working with the FBI to take down the Galindo Cartel by using the MC as a cover to get close, breaking their bond. The Reyes brothers’ dad, Felipe (Edward James Olmos), told his sons of his checkered past. The series also focused on the internal issues within the club, and don’t forget that Lincoln Potter (Ray McKinnon) is still around.

But the most shocking events happened in the season one finale. EZ went to the club’s president, Bishop (Michael Irby), and asked him to be his prospect sponsor instead of his brother. Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) left the club to go work for Miguel Galindo (Danny Pino).
But was it a trick? Or is El Padrino working for the Cartel now?

In the final moments at a party where some members from the Sons rode up, EZ spotted Happy (David Labrava) and remembered that he was the guy he was chasing when he got arrested.
Does that mean Happy killed their mother? Were the Sons of Anarchy involved?

The series also features Sarah Bolger, Carla Baratta, Antonio Jaramillo, Raoul Max Trujillo, and Richard Cabral. Recurring stars include Frankie Loyal, Joseph Lucero, Vincent Rocco Vargas, and many more.
