Veronica Mars, starring Kristen Bell (The Good Place), ran for three seasons from 2004-2007 and quickly became a fan favorite for the high schooler’s wit and gripping storylines. The show would return in 2014, as a movie after a successful Kickstarter campaign.
The newest season will be eight episodes long and see the return of Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls), Enrico Colantoni (Keith Mars), Max Greenfield (Leo D’Amato) and other returning and new characters.
The Hulu Press page has the season description as:
“Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the family of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.”
Catch Veronica and everyone from Neptune, California July 26 on Hulu.
