Isabelle McCalla from Broadway’s musical comedy, The Prom, joined “BUILD Brunch” on Feb. 26 to chat with the hosts, Ali Kolbert, Shannon Coffey, Brittany Jones-Cooper, and Lukas Thimm. Isabelle talks about the musical, as well as how this groundbreaking and uplifting story has resonated with so many young people of the LGBTQ community. “The fact that I, playing Alyssa Greene, have inspired so many young girls to come out because my character struggles with the same things they do, that is the best thing.”

She also talks about how The Prom made history in 2018 as the first LGBTQ kiss at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! You can watch the full video here.
