Sebastian Stan Taking Over for Chris Evans in New Netflix Project
Deadline has reported that Sebastian Stan will be taking over for Chris Evans in the upcoming Netflix production of The Devil All the Time.
Due to scheduling conflicts, Evans had to leave the project, but fear not. We’ll be seeing plenty of him soon enough in not only Avengers: Endgame, but in Infinite, and in an upcoming Apple series he is also producing.
Stan will be joining his Marvel costar Tom Holland along with Jason Clark, Mia Wasakowska, Robert Pattinson, Riley Keough and Bill Skarsgard. It is being produced by Jake Gyllenhall, Riva Marker, Randall Poster and Max Born.
The script is an adaptation of the novel by Donal Ray Pollock that was released in 2011 and will be penned by Antonio and Paulo Campos.
A synopsis of the book reads:
In the backwoods of Ohio, Willard Russell’s wife is succumbing to cancer, no matter how much he drinks, prays, or sacrifices animals at his “prayer log.” Meanwhile, his son Arvin is growing up, from a kid bullied at school into a man who knows when to take action. Around them swirl a nefarious cast of characters—a demented team of serial killers, a spider-eating preacher, and a corrupt local sheriff—all braided into a riveting narrative of the grittiest American grain.
