Brie Larson Raises Money for ‘Captain Marvel’ Challenge

Brie Larson, star of the highly anticipated Captain Marvel film hitting theaters in March, went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to help raise money for the Captain Marvel Challenge. The Challenge is a fundraising effort to give as many girls as possible the opportunity to see the upcoming female-led superhero film, who otherwise would not be able to afford it.

On the show, Larson and Twitch, DeGeneres’ cohost and DJ, were tasked with trying to match the dance moves that were playing behind them on the big screen. Shutterfly pledged to pay the Challenge $1,000 for every dance move Larson and Twitch successfully performed.

The dancers ultimately amassed $10,000 from Shutterfly! Here is the video of their challenge.

See Captain Marvel when it comes to theaters on March 8, and watch The Ellen DeGeneres Show everyday at 3 p.m. on NBC.
