The CW’s spring lineup always includes a bit of a shake-up for current shows and this year is no exception.
Black Lightning had been airing Tuesdays at 9pm, following The Flash, but it will be shifted to Mondays at 9pm, taking the spot of Legends of Tomorrow. After the season finale of Black Lightning, Legends will return and trade time slots with Arrow. Last May, it had been announced that Legends would be the lead-in for Arrow, but the schedule was changed. It seems that for spring, they’ll be returning to the original plan, possibly in hopes to increase ratings for Legends. While fans love it, the ratings have not been anywhere near that of the other DC shows. The quirky Legends will aptly be showing up on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at 8pm.
Thankfully, the rest of the Arrowverse shows will be returning this month. The Flash will return on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at its usual 8pm spot. Next up is Supergirl. The girl of steel will be airing at 8pm on Sunday, January 20th, 2019, leading into Black Lightning. Then on Monday, January 21st, 2019, Arrow will be starting off in its spot at 8pm where it will remain until Legends of Tomorrow returns in April.
