
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that Halloween, this year’s hugely popular sequel to the John Carpenter classic of the same name from 1978, will be arriving on Digital and via the digital movie app Movies Anywhere on December 28, 2018. Also, the movie will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-RayTM, DVD, and On Demand on January 15, 2019.
The latest installment in this horror franchise reunites killer Michael Myers with heroine Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) in present-day Haddonfield, Illinois. After spending four decades in state custody, Myers escapes and searches for Strode to finish what he started in 1978. Both new and seasoned fans of the Halloween franchise will enjoy this hair-raising, chilling story.
In addition to Curtis, the cast also includes stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, and Virginia Gardner.
