‘Aladdin’ Teaser Trailer Released!

Get ready Aladdin fans to enter into “A whole new world.”

We were just given a peek at the new poster courtesy of Will Smith and Disney but now they have gone the extra mile.

Released on October 11th, was a teaser trailer giving us a sneak peek into Disney’s live action version of the 1992 original, Aladdin.

It follows a poor, ‘street rat’ named Aladdin living in Agrabah, who tries to survive by trickery and thievery which gives him a bad reputation. Meanwhile, Princess Jasmine lives in her castle, desperate to see a world outside of the walls of her palace so sneaks out and happens upon Aladdin who saves her in the town. They get to know each other, but soon they are discovered and Aladdin is thrown into a dungeon. An old man gets the attention of Aladdin because he promises of great treasure if he goes into a cave. Aladdin agrees and heads into the dangerous cave, but what he finds is a lamp, and what he doesn’t know is there is a genie who grants 3 wishes inside. Genie and Aladdin become pals and Genie makes Aladdin become a prince and marry the beautiful Princess Jasmine because without his prince status, they can’t be married. It goes array when Jafar steals Genie and becomes the most powerful Genie of all. Evil never wins and Aladdin defeats Jafar and marries Jasmine after the law changes that they can be together.

Starring in this new twist is Will Smith as Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar and more. Directed and written by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin is sure to bring the magic back to the screen. You can see this fantastic movie coming May 24th, 2019.
