The writer and director of Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 took to Facebook for a special announcement ahead of the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
In the post, James confirms that there will be a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. and that he will also be returning to write and direct it. The third installment will take place after the Avengers’ Infinity War, and will “help catapult both old and new Marvel characters into the next ten years and beyond.”
We’re so excited James will be back and we look forward to where the story will go!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be released in theaters on May 5.
