Variety has announced that Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Jennifer Garner (Love, Simon) have joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix film The Adam Project. They are joining Ryan Reynolds, who was previously announced. There’s currently no confirmation on who Saldana and Garner will play.
Though details about the plot are currently under wraps, Variety mentions that the action-adventure film will primarily follow Ryan Reynolds’ character, a pilot who uses time-travel technology to solve a mystery with his younger self.
The Adam Project will be written by Jonathan Tropper (This Is Where I Leave You), based off an initial draft from Jennifer Flackett, Mark Levin, and TS Nowlin. Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) is set to direct.
